Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Nexsoq ("Nexsoq", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Nexsoq platform at nexsoq.com and its retailer storefronts, dashboards, and advertising services (together, the "Services").

1. Who we are

Nexsoq operates a multi-retailer e-commerce platform that lets local retailers run online storefronts and promote their products. For data-protection purposes, Nexsoq acts as the data controller for the platform and as the advertiser-of-record for advertising run through the platform.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, phone number, and password (stored hashed) when you register.
  • Order and transaction data — products purchased, delivery details, and payment status. Card payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
  • Retailer data — business details, product catalog, and campaign settings provided by retailers using our dashboards.
  • Advertising data — when a retailer promotes a product, we use product information and aggregated campaign performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend) reported by advertising platforms such as Meta.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Services.

3. How we use data

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the Services.
  • To process orders, payments, and deliveries.
  • To create, publish, and measure advertising campaigns on behalf of retailers, including ads delivered on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
  • To communicate with you about your account, orders, and support.
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud and abuse.

4. Advertising and Meta platforms

We use the Meta Marketing API to create and manage advertising campaigns. Ads are run from a Nexsoq-operated advertising account and identity. We share with Meta only the information needed to create and measure campaigns (such as the ad creative, destination link, and budget) and we receive aggregated performance metrics in return. We do not sell your personal data. Meta's handling of data is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.

5. Sharing data

We share data only with: (a) service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. hosting, payment processing, advertising delivery); (b) retailers, for orders placed on their storefront; and (c) authorities where required by law. We require our providers to protect personal data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
